Functional Reverse Thrusting.

By activating the REV pushbutton, a MG996R Servo acts as an actuator making the reverse thrust functional by opening and closing the internal blocker doors redirecting the thrust in the opposite direction!

The internal blocker doors were designed to deflect the bypass air redirecting it towards the Turbofan.
